Greetings 2016 NSCF Meeting Attendees,

In less than a month, the NSCF’s Annual Summit Meeting will be underway in Lake Tahoe. Thank you for registering on the Federation’s website and responding to my request for your arrival and departure dates and times.  If you have not already sent this information to me, kindly do so at your earliest convenience. 

The meeting package includes accommodations at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel for three or four nights from Wednesday, August 24^th through Sunday, August 28^th.  The majority of our Council delegates will be at the hotel for four nights.  However, I’m learning that a few people registered for four nights, but will only be at the hotel three nights.  If you are planning to arrive later than Wednesday or your will depart  earlier than Sunday, please advise me.  I’ve already been in touch with several people for clarification.  Notify me ASAP If your hotel stay will be less than four nights and you have not heard directly from me.  Since this is a busy time for the hotel, specific check-in/check-out dates have been requested for each guest.  This does not pertain to Pre & Post Meeting Lodging since reservations must be made directly, as per your Council Invite.     

Based on information received to date, most people traveling by air will arrive at the Reno Tahoe Airport.  As noted in your Meeting Invite, the South Tahoe Airporter offers express service to the South Shore and one of their stops is the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel.  The cost per person is $53.00 round trip.  Since advance reservations are required,  pls. book your individual transfer by visiting www.southtahoeexpress.com   A promo code is not available since we cannot guarantee a minimum of 10 people booking the same van due to varied arrival times.  You can call South Tahoe Airporter on 866.898.2463 with any questions.  For your reference, a copy of their schedule is attached.  If you are interested in sharing a rental car, let me know and I’ll attempt to find someone arriving near your scheduled arrival time.
