To All,
Attached, pls. find a listing of the NSCF’s 2016 Annual Summit Meeting attendees and a summary of the travel information provided. If you have not sent me your flight details or advised you are driving, kindly do so at your earliest convenience. For those driving to the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel, the address is: 4130 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. Please note there is a $15.00 per day parking fee at the hotel. This is a discounted rate; public parking in Heavenly Village is $23.00 per day. There is free parking across the street at Harrah’s/Harvey’s, but there is no security. .
Several of our attendees are scheduled for early morning flights departing from Reno on Sunday morning. For those who would prefer leaving Lake Tahoe on Saturday afternoon/evening to stay in Reno, a discounted room rate has been arranged at the Peppermill Resort Hotel. Rates for Aug 27th are as follows:
$104.99 plus resort fee/tax in the North/West Wing
$125.99 plus resort fee/tax in the Main Peppermill Tower
$153.99 plus resort fee/tax in the All-Suite Tuscany Tower
To book a room at the Peppermill, contact Dana Shores directly either via email (dshores@peppermillreno.com) or phone (775-689-7016). Be sure to let her know you are with the NSCF.
As a reminder, the meeting package includes accommodations at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel for three or four nights from Wednesday, August 24th through Sunday, August 28th. The majority of our Council delegates will be at the hotel for four nights. Notify me ASAP If your hotel stay will be less than four nights and you have not already advised me. For those planning to depart on Saturday, please be mindful that the meeting will end at 3:00pm. Since this is a busy time for the hotel, specific check-in/check-out dates have been requested for each guest. This does not pertain to Pre & Post Meeting Lodging since reservations must be made directly, as per your Council Invite.
If you are flying into Reno, the South Tahoe Airporter offers express service to the South Shore and one of their stops is the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel. The cost per person is $53.00 round trip. Since advance reservations are required, pls. book your individual transfer by visiting www.southtahoeexpress.com A copy of their schedule is attached.
