I haven't heard from our president, but I see no other solution but to go with Zermatt. Walt

Dear Federation Members,

At the meeting in Sun Peaks I was directed to go back to our two potential host and gather more information: 1. Zermatt Resort, UT - can they host us at other times and would there be a difference in cost? 2. Bend, OR - could they host us Nov 6-11, 2018 and what is their specific proposal.

Unfortunately, Anne Cook and the Doubletree Bend can not do the week we preferred.

Max at Zermatt Resort is able to offer that week in November, but as we heard during the meeting, this is not a good time for the industry. So, we are back to their original offer, and the officers availability looks like we need to have the meeting August 22-26, 2018.

Following are the details of the offer as presented at the meeting: Date: Wed Aug 22- Sun Aug 26, 2018 Lodging: $75pp/ni double occupancy tax included, same price for pre/post options Meal Package: Wed and Thur reception, Thur/Fri breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sat breakfast = $176pp tax and gratuity included Complimentary meeting space Complimentary access indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, wellness center with spa, sauna, co-ed steam room, Ruheraum and fitness center. Complimentary gelato from onsite Swiss bakery Thursday 20% off spa treatments Complimentary shuttles to Park City, Deer Valley and throughout Midway and the Herber Valley.

The delegates at the meeting voted to send an electronic vote by October 6, 2017 with votes due back by October 16, 2017. The resort has two other groups interested in the same date, so first to sign a contract gets it. Unfortunately with this being our only option, I would like to be able to secure the dates sooner than later, so your prompt replies are appreciated.

Please share with your clubs the Virtual Silent Auction information that started this week. Mike Calderone has done a wonderful job getting this project off the ground and the proceeds are ear marked to defer the costs of the Annual Meeting. So the more people that know about the auction, and the more money we make from it, the lower the price will be!!

Each Council has one vote, this email is going to Presidents and 2017 Annual Meeting Attendees.

Please respond with a Yes - meaning that you approve Zermatt Resort as our host for the 2018 Annual Meeting or No if you do not approve this proposal. If you vote no, please suggest an alternative for the meeting.

Thank you! Lisa
