We are just a couple of weeks away from our Annual Meeting on August 21^st via Zoom and wanted to update you all on the status of our upcoming Elections.

Nominations are now open for all four elected positions.  Lisa has stated that she will NOT be running for another term.  Cheryl has agreed to run for President.  Both Sheri and Greg would like to step aside providing we can find candidates to run for those positions. Michael Calderone has agreed to run for Vice President. 

We now have three candidates thus far please consider throwing your hat in the ring or nominating someone else.  I was pleasantly surprised to be nominated for Secretary this week and have accepted the nomination. 

Even though we have these candidates, it doesn't preclude someone from running for any of these offices.  Competition is good, so give it some thought and consider a run for one of these positions.

Possibly there is someone within your councils that might be a good fit for one of these positions.  Discuss it with them to gage their interest and nominate them if they are willing.
