Subject: NSCF - *It's Not Too Late* 2025 Travel Trends Survey
Date: May 2nd 2025
Thank you to all that have taken a few minutes to fill in the Travel Trends Survey.  If you open it up, you can see who has and who hasn't. It doesn't take very long and doesn't ask a lot of questions. The deadline on the survey was April 30th, we are extending it so ignore that date.

Councils - Please go in and update per instructions if the clubs are still in your council and add any new clubs.  This will help NSCF get our data up to date and is much needed! Fill in your Council Trip information and send to your clubs.

Clubs - Please note if you don't run trips and if you do list them (add lines for multiple trips).

The more information we have the better our results.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to help us get a benchmark and start following the trends of NSCF skiers.

Subject: NSCF 2025 Travel Trends Survey

Dear Federation Councils and Clubs,

I hope that you have had a great ski season and for many there are still a few trips in the next month.  While our season is still fresh in our minds, the Federation is sending this year's Trends in Travel Survey. We are asking only for trips run between May 1, 2024 and April 30, 2025.

Last year we only asked for Council run trip information and it was very detailed.  After the NSCF meeting last summer, the delegates and industry agreed we should narrow down what we are asking for to get a benchmark.  This year there are only eight basic items being asked for:  name and email of person filling information in, what type of trip offered, where it was to, what date was the first day of the trip, how long it was, how many attended and price range that base trip offered without air/lifts no matter what inclusions you had or did not have (your sell price).

The categories and instructions are stated on rows 1 & 2 of the Google sheet.  Once you edit your information it will automatically keep it in the working document. So please be careful not to delete anything. Only one row was built for each council and club, so feel free to add rows for multiple trips run.

I have entered all of our Councils and the clubs we had listed for each.  We realize that this list is probably outdated, so we are asking for a 2-Step process to gathering data.

Step 1 - Councils
If each Council upon receiving this email will go through and confirm/edit your clubs.  If any are no longer part of your council, please indicate as instructions provide.  If you have new clubs in your council, please add them under your Council section. Once your Council section is correct, please forward this email to your clubs and fill in your Council's trip information.

Step 2 - Clubs
If you are reading this, please click on the link below and fill in your Club's trip information.

The data collected will be used as a starting point of information and will be presented at the NSCF Annual Meeting this summer.  It will be interesting to see what percentages of ski vs non-ski trips we are taking, how many clubs do not run trips and watch to see if it is increasing or decreasing in the future, are most still taking 7 day trips, what is the price point for most and does it differ with destinations, and many more potential areas of interest.  We hope this information will help provide council and clubs information on NSCF's impact on travel as well as if there are any trends that may influence the industry in some way to continue to help support group travel.

Thank you in advance for your participation, the more that reply the better our data. Please complete by April 30, 2025.
