Greetings 2017 NSCF Meeting Attendees,

In just over a month, the NSCF's Annual Summit Meeting will be underway in Sun Peaks, BC, Canada. Thank you for registering on the Federation's website

The meeting package includes accommodations at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel from Wednesday, September 6th through Sunday, September 10th (NSCF Officers check-in on Sep 5th). The majority of our Council delegates will be at the hotel for four nights, checking out on September 10th. However, I'm learning that some delegates/guests will be checking out on Saturday, September 9th. If you are planning to depart earlier than Sunday, please advise me immediately. Since this is a busy time for the hotel, specific check-in/check-out dates have been requested for each guest. This does not pertain to Pre & Post Meeting Lodging since reservations which had to made by you directly, as per your Council Invite.

Additionally, if you have not already sent me your flight/travel information, kindly do so. We are attempting to respond to carpooling requests and need this information ASAP. Based on information received to date, attendees have varied travel plans, many are renting cars and touring the area before/after the meeting. If you are flying in & out of Kamloops, there is a shuttle serving Sun Peaks. A brochure is attached.

For anyone arriving/departing Kelowna Airport, Walt Prest, delegate for the Western PA Ski Council has reserved a five passenger vehicle and would be happy to share the ride (approx. 2 hour, 36 minutes) and expenses. He is flying from Pittsburgh to Vancouver on September 6th, leaving Vancouver on Air Canada flight #8416 at 3:00 pm, arriving Kelowna at 3:55 p.m. He will be checking out on Saturday, the 9th and will drive back to Kelowna for a return flight to Pittsburgh at 6 a.m. on Sunday, the 6th. He reserved a motel room for Saturday night and is in no rush to get there, so could share the ride (and the room if applicable) with anyone traveling out of Kelowna during that period.

I've attached a draft list of travel information I have received to date. Hotel check-in/check-out dates are also included (Sep 9th check-out's are noted if already known). If this information is not accurate, please let me know. Since a final hotel list is due August 7th, your prompt response will be greatly appreciated.
