Hi all.  I’m going to try to make tonight’s meeting but we’re in Myrtle Beach and it’s a pretty nasty weather day so plan to head over to Tanger Outlets for something to do that isn’t beach related (the ocean doesn’t look friendly at all today).  So in case I don’t make it back in time for tonight’s call, here’s my report for Social Media.

Got a lot of “likes” on our Facebook page at MTS.  They were pulling out their phones and liking the page as I told them about it.  We are now up to 642 likes – at one point last week we had increased our likes by around 800%.  I also added a couple of people in new areas of the country to post.  Stephanie Stoyanov of the Merck Ski Association in eastern PA has been added and has already been adding some great posts.  I also added Phil Reed of the Florida Ski Council.  Phil said he doesn’t have a lot of time but will add occasional posts – he does a good job on posts for the FSC Facebook page.  Becki Robinson in Oregon continues to add posts.  Margaret Crum does as well.  We’re doing good and I spoke to a lot of people about NSCF at MTS, both Club and Council reps along with industry people.  The Crescent info sheet I gave out had of course both Lisa as Trip Chair and me as President and I passed along that Lisa is Federation President for those who didn’t  know and I’m Social Media Chair – it was a very productive MTS for getting out the word on the Federation.
