Aspen Snowmass is set to celebrate their 50th birthday on Dec. 15. Part of that celebration includes offering a single-day lift ticket for that day at the price they were way back on opening day in 1967: $6.50!

The best part is that the lift tickets can already be booked, so if you were planning on a trip to Aspen this winter, you might as well take advantage of one of the cheapest single-day lift tickets up for grabs this year.

But that’s not all Snowmass is doing to celebrate their 50 years. The entire weekend is going to be a big bash, with a re-creation of their legendary Banana Days events, a cabin jump and rail jam, fireworks and a 50th Anniversary Golden Gala.
