Big! Powder! Paradise!

There is no other way to describe Utah’s Powder Mountain, which has already received 215 inches of snowfall this season and currently sports a 90-inch base covering more than 8,400 acres of terrain – the most skiable terrain in North America!

In fact, the month of February has been especially kind to Powder Mountain with more than seven feet of snow, including more than three feet in the past week. With this week’s SnoCountry/Pepsi Resort of the Week featuring nine lifts, serving more than 150 trails, plus tons of side and backcountry terrain, the toughest decision is where to go to get freshies first.

If you’re looking for a few powder stashes, don’t hesitate to lap the often overlooked Timberline runs, before making your way to the bottom of Hidden Lake Express or Paradise. But before you head out on the mountain, swing by the Timberline Lodge to gear up and grab breakfast. After a few morning laps, hit the Hidden Lake Cantina for lunch, which offers Mexican cuisine, drinks and snacks at the top of Hidden Lake Lift with a view of four states from the top of Powder Mountain.

Cap the day off back at the Timberline Lodge and head downstairs to Powder Keg for live music, apres, and a great selection of beers on tap.
